Summer Fun and Shenanigans Part 3

Pretty sad that I'm still posting about our Summer in January! I keep getting so far behind! Ok on to the rest of our summer!
We went on another camping trip at a place outside of Rexburg. It's actually a place that Tyrel and I and some friends camped out at the summer after we were married so it was fun to take the kids back to it. It's a really fun place with lots of trails for riding and a cool place set way back with a waterfall and a little swimming area. Look at the sun shining through his white hair, I love it!

Sweet boy!

Lots of relaxing going on, which is rare in the summertime!

We added this beaut to our family this summer. It took me quite a while to get talked into getting a camper. I grew up camping in tents and Tyrel didn't grow up camping at all so for quite a few summers now we have been camping in tents, but that changed when Tyrel found this. We haven't named her yet, but she sure is nice to have around! Let me just tell you that camping got a little easier...not a ton, but a little! Now I can leave most of the camping stuff in one place AND there's a refrigerator and freezer inside so we can camp for longer without trying to be close enough to a place that sells ice so that we can keep our food cold. My favorite type of camping is boondocking, I don't really like the actual campsites where you have to pay. I like just driving out in the middle of no where and finding a place to park and then exploring whats around you and making the most out of it. That's what we did this summer and the last couple summers and it was such a blast!!!

Those eyes!!! He melts my heart!

THIS happened! My little baby started school!!! He was SOOOOOOOOOO excited! And he was SO ready too. It was hard for me to be too sad because he was just so darn excited! I drove him to school the first day for my own selfish reasons even though he wanted to take the bus so bad.

Look at these handsome boys, am I lucky or what!!!

Another one because they're so gosh darn cute!

My boys and I! So blessed to be their Mom:)

2nd day of school and first day on the bus! It actually comes all the way out to us and drives half way up our driveway and then backs out, so that's nice!

The bus leaving.....

And getting farther away...... The bus gives me anxiety. I know this is where a majority of the mischief happens, but Tytyn still sits in the front seat everday and for the most part does ok. He complains that the bus ride is SO long and he just wants me to take him. He gets on the bus at 6:50 am and school starts at 8:25, so ya it's a long time, but gas ain't cheap unfortunately or I'd take him everyday. I pick him up Mon-Thurs at 2 pm and then he has the rest of the weekend off. He really looks forward to the weekends now, but still really enjoys school.

My crazy, energetic, get into everything, lovable and fun boys!

Hanging out in the camper about to go to bed. Beds are also VERY nice to have while camping:) These pics are a little out of order because I was getting them from 2 different cameras, oh well.

The boys had so much fun playing in the water.

He fell asleep on the ride back to the camper.

August 1st we celebrated 7 years of marriage. Unfortunately it was also the day that I did some continuing education for my massage therapy license and so I was gone all day, but Tyrel had baled the whole night before and was loading hay out of the fields all day so we wouldn't have seen each other anyway. I got to sit in a classroom all day and listen to a lecture on Defining Expectations with your clients and your business when a lady walked in with this big bouquet of roses. The teacher at the front told her she probably had the wrong classroom, but she read the name aloud anyway, which was my name. It took a minute for it to register that they were for me because of our anniversary that day. It was su ch a huge surprise! The entire classroom (all girls) let out a collective Awwwwwwww! It was pretty funny! My face turned red out of embarassment, not because I was ashamed in anyway, just though the attention was all on me in a classroom full of people that I didn't know. One lady said now that's a good husband! I totally agreed with her! I couldn't help but tear up, it was such a sweet gesture that even in the craziness of harvest he took the time to make sure that I was having a special day. I had no idea how he even knew where to have it delivered, but then I remembered the night before him asking me if I knew where I was going for my class in the morning. The class was in pocatello at an extension building for ISU with a bunch of classrooms in it. I showed him the address and we looked at the map together so that I wouldn't get lost the next day. He was of course being sneaky so that he knew where to send flowers, but I had no clue ha ha. We've sure been through a lot of crazines in the last 7 years of our lives together, but I wouldn't want anyone else by my side. He is without a doubt the best husband and father to me and to our boys:)

One night I could hear my dogs going crazy outside so I flipped on the back porch light and this guy was staring into my house at me. Except his paws were on my sliding glass window and he was literally looking into the house right at me. It freaked me out! I went and grabbed my camera to get a few pics then went and put my dogs in the garage so that he could get away. Mater was really ticked that he was hanging out on the back porch railing and he was afraid they'd fight or something. He ended up falling into our window well while running away, which I didn't know til the next day so we had to put some boards down the window well for him to be able to crawl out. This is not the only creature we've had to deal with. I love it where we are!

A pretty sunrise! I get to see the sunrise every morning, I'm a very early riser and with no other obstructions in the way it makes me so grateful for the beauty God created for us.

Our grass is growing! With lots of weeds, but those eventually went away.

A visit to Grandma Larsen. We actually get to Utah quite often and always make it a priority to go and have a visit with her. I want my boys to remember their Great Grandma Larsen and I know she loves visitors. And we love her!
