Mom's Visit

A week ago Saturday my wonderful Mother came to stay with us for a few days! It was so fun having her here! Tytyn absolutely adores his Grandma! We had decided that we were going to try and get lots of canning done while she was here. This is the 3rd year she has come and helped me with alot of my canning, I am so grateful! We did salsa, peaches, and peach filling! Usually when I get together with my Mom we do itleast 1 full day of shopping if not more, but I'm living in Vernal now. And if any of you have been to Vernal you know theres not many places to shop. I know what its like to live far away from good shopping, but theres always been itleast a mall within an hour away....not here. Grand Junction is 2-2 1/2 hours away and Salt Lake is about 2 1/2-3 hours away. Regardless it was fun to have her here and make some fun memories with my Mom. Thanks for coming Mom! It was so much fun and we really appreciate all you and Dad do for us! Love and miss you!

    It sounds like you had a great time together. It is always more fun to can with another person, especially your mom!

    I'm sooo glad I was able to come and hang out for a few days. Its hard not having my daughters closer!! I enjoyed our exercise each morning also. Its so much easier when you do it with someone else. I MISS you guys!! Thanks for all your great meals and hospitality.
