This month has been crazy! It has been one thing after another and I feel like I haven't had a moment to breathe. The first weekend in Feb. we did a family temple day and got a bunch of names done on Tyrel's side of the family. We did a Saturday morning session at 10 am and we probably won't EVER go at that time again. It was SO packed. They actually took a huge group up at 20 minutes to 10 because I think they realized there wouldn't be room for all of us. And there barely was! Every single chair was filled plus extra chairs that they brought in, but isn't that cool?! A full temple is a good thing right!!! Then the 2nd week in Feb. my Mom came for a short visit. Tytyn just absolutely loves her! It has been 3 weeks since she left and Tytyn still asks "Where did Grandma go?" I love that he loves both sets of his Grandparents so much and gets so excited when I talk to him about them! I took a job at The College of Massage Therapy as a clinic supervisor, but only on Fridays from 2-8. Its just an opportunity for me to keep up my skills and make a little extra grocery money. They've told me numerous times they would love to have me full time, but I always have to inform them that I have a full time job as a wife and mother and theres no other way that I'd want it! The 3rd week in Feb. was Valentines day and lots of church meetings. Then that weekend we made a little trip down to Ashton with a bunch of friends to stay in a cabin and play in the snow. It was so fun to get away and to see some snow! This has been the weirdest winter, just so dry and NO snow! On Presidents day we sorted our cows so that we can get ready to sell them, we sold our first batch this morning actually! The next two days Tyrel and I headed down to Vernal Utah for a job interview that went really well. We left Tytyn with Tyrel's parents. It was just a quick overnight trip with lots of driving, but it was fun to get away together. We are still taking our farm management class together every Thursday. We had another full day of sortig cows friday and then I had to go to work that evening. I just keep telling myself that if I can get through today then it will be March soon and things will maybe slow down. Tonight I have 3 visiting teaching appointments in a row, then I have to run to the Blue and Gold Banquet and then to a visiting teaching interview. And on top of all of that I am still doing my Insanity program, I just started my 6th week this week. The workouts are now longer and much more challenging, but I feel GREAT! My clothes fit so much better and I have so much more energy and hardly any headaches anymore! Everything I eat is natural and fresh for the most part and I just feel so healthy. Before I started this I was having bad acid reflux and stomach aches far too often and now all of that is gone! The greatest part of all of this is that it is becoming habit. I don't even have to think about it anymore I just do it all naturally and I don't crave junk food anymore! The workouts are hard and challenging, but somewhere deep down I've been able to find this self control and motivation to keep pushing myself to do things I never thought I would be capable of again, its such a great feeling! My family has been a great support to me and are always encouraging me and I am so grateful for that! I hope you all have a great week and know that I love and miss you all!

This is on our trip to Ashton. |

Tytyn loved being out in the snow! |

Tytyn has had some friends over a couple times lately. These are his 2 closest buddies, Kurtis and Kristen. They all play really well together. And as you can tell none of them wanted to look at the camera. |

ReplyDeleteWow, what a month. No wonder we haven't heard from you. I am tired just reading all of this. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're learning to juggle everything great!! I'm glad you feel a lot better since you've started this program. The first couple of weeks are always the hardest. Keep up the good job. Our visit was WAY to short, but we'll see you again in a month. I have the BEST 2 daughters ever!! love you, momoxxoxo
ReplyDeleteI have missed two big entries and yes, a lot has happened. I want to know more about your job interview in Roosevelt and why you are selling your cows. Tytyn is really cute and I loved all your introspection of being a great Mom which you obviously are because you are trying so hard to be the best you can be all the time. You are both great parents!
