Last Friday, after Tyrel got home from work, we packed up and left for another trip to Bear Lake. This time Tyrel took some more time off of work so that we could have a longer vacation. We just got home last night (Tuesday), so I have been doing laundry, unpacking, and cleaning, etc. Vacations are always so fun and much needed, but can I just say that I hate all the packing and then all the unpacking and cleaning when you get home! It's ok though, the fun that we had made it totally worth it!!! We took our bikes and went on several bike rides, played lots of mini golf, swam in the pool, and played on the beach. Tytyn loved the water this time and also loved playing in the sand. But most of all it was nice to just relax with my family and not worry about the little everyday stresses.

He loves being pushed in the swing! |

I thought this was a pretty funny look:) |

He loves repetition lately! I will literally read him the same book 50 times a day and he loves it!!! |
 |
He learned the "art of dipping". After he was done dipping his fries and chicken he continued dipping his fingers in the sauce, he just couldn't get enough ha ha:) |
 |
We made the mistake of putting the food box next to him in the backseat. He got a hold of a little container full of powdered sugar and this is the mess I found right when we were about to stop for dinner on our way home. |

Neither of us could get mad though because it was just too funny! We were laughing hysterically and I just figure that messes are like little learning experiences for the sweet little bud. |
Glad you got to get away together. Looks like you had a lot of fun. I love the powder sugar mess. I wish I could have had that attitude more when all you kids were young. I'm sure that car seat was fun to clean. Love you, mom xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI started CRACKING UP when I saw the picture of Tytyn and the powdered sugar!!! Hahaha. What a little cutie :) Excited to see you in a couple weeks! :)

I bet you're glad you packed powdered sugar for the french toast instead of syrup--that would've been way worse to clean up. He's such a cutie pie. Glad you had a good time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet smile. How could anyone get mad. Still...I am so glad not to be cleaning up my kids messes anymore. Now we just clean up after the grandkids.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a horrible mess, its good you could laugh about it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of fun. That's good you could laugh about the mess instead of being angry.
