Halter's 1st Birthday! (On May 24th)

My baby turned 1!!! I cannot believe how fast the first year of his life went by! It took so long to get that sweet little one here and then once he was I feel like I blinked and he was already grown up! From the isntant this boy was born I felt like I'd known him forever! He is such an angel and I could not be more blessed to be able to be his Mother! He started walking basically on his birthday, which was exciting. He is into everything and is always so curious about everything and everybody. Halter has the sweetest smile, it melts your heart! He has such a light about him and this infectious little personality. I love his eyes, they're so shiny and bright, like there is a light in them. He has such a sweet little spirit.  I could kiss on that little boy's cheeks all day long...oh wait I do;) Our whole family just loves this little boy to pieces! We are so grateful that he is a part of our family! We loves you Babes! "Babes" is his nickname, I'm not quite sure how he got it, but it stuck ha ha.


He grabbed the entire scoop of ice cream first and shoved the whole scoop in his mouth ha ha!

    He's such a sweet boy! It was great to see all of you, I only wish we lived closer and our kids could play more, it's so fun to see them be buddies. I call shelten babes too, didn't know halter has the same nickname. Love you!!

    He is so cute! I can't believe he is one already! I also use "Babes" as a nickname for David. I actually told Jake that I am interested to see how long he'll let me call him that.

    What a sweetheart!! It makes me so sad sometimes to be so far away from my grandkids. I'm glad you give him lots of kisses so some can be from me. See you in a couple of weeks:)
