Summer Fun and Shenanigans Part 2

Tytyn taking his turn down the slide.

We did some swim lessons twice this summer. The first session Halter and I did the Mommy and tot class and the second session we just came with Tytyn each day and watched him. Tytyn grew a lot more confident in the water and is doing really well. I didn't get very many pictures of him and most of them didn't turn out, but I had to post one so we remembered!

For Father's and Sons this year all of the big boys and little boys got to go camping and dirtbiking with Ted's best friend, Perry. He invited the boys and basically planned the whole thing including the food. The boys all had so much fun with him and with their boys;)

This is where they were riding dirtbikes, nice view!

Tytyn, fishing with Perry.

Our first camping trip of the year! We drove up to Bloomington and since the families condo at Bear Lake is so close we went there for a day and hung out on the beach and played mini golf.

Tytyn getting buried.

All these guys came up for one night and day and spent the day with us at the condo.

This is Tyrel jumping off the rope swing at Bloomington Lake.

Me going off the rope swing.

The hike back; we had to stop for a family pic!

My sweet boy chilling in the camp chair. He LOVED camping! He could be outside ALL day and be happy!

This stuf muffin learned to ride his bike with no training wheels on this trip. Ironically enough he learned to ride it on that gravel road behind him. You'd think he would have been more motivated to want to on asphalt when we've tried other times, but basically he's like his Dad where it has to be his idea;) He's never really been too interested in riding bikes, I think it's because of where we live. There are always way too many other fun things to do like being out on the farm with his Dad that he just really is never at home, bored, where I have to kick him outside because he is already always outside helping Tyrel work. He was really proud of himself and we were proud of him too. It's so fun to watch your kids learn and accompish new things.

Summer Fun and Shenanigans Part 1

We squeezed in some fun this summer in between the craziness of farming. And it was a alot of fun to just hang out outside with Tyrel a lot of days too. I'll just have to post the pictures to remember all that we did. I wish I wouldn't get so far behind on my posts so that I could remember better all the things that we do together, thank goodness for cameras! I'll probably just have to do a separate post with farming pics because all of those pics are on Tyrel's phone, I just need to get them sent to the computer so I have them too.

This was right before we went to get Halter's first haircut. I just wanted to document how long it was ha ha.

And this was after we got home from getting his haircut, he was tuckered out. He sure is handsome!

And this is my other handsome boy!!!

I LOVE getting to admire the beautiful sunsets out my windows. This was also shortly after we got all of our trees planted and dirt worked to get ready to plant our lawn.

Another gorgeous sunset!

This was shortly after they finished putting in our sprinkler system, now for the grass seed!

I was working out in the yard this day and Halter was having so much fun playing in the dirt! I turned on a sprimkler for him and even more fun playing in the water AND the dirt equaling in LOTS of mud. Isn't he cute?!?! He sure had a blast!

Cute little chubber legs!

Where are you poochies?!

Another gorgeous sunset! Seriously they are SO pretty out here!

Shortly after moving in an older man from our ward, who is so kind and helped us out ALOT with our painting and a few other odds and ends, asked what I was going to do with my front flower bed. I told him I hadn't thought much about it yet because I was so busy with unpacking and what not and he said if I'd let him he would come plant a bed of wildflowers. He even rigged up a sprinkler for them and put a rabbit fence around them to keep my dogs out. He is seriously so nice! They turned out to be such a gorgeous variety. There was probably itleast 15-20 different kinds of flowers. And they bloomed continuously through October.

I just had to take a picture of this bag because it looked so cute. My friend had a baby whom they named Faith. Right before bringing them over dinner and a gift I was looking through my big container full of sticker and scrapbooking supplies and found this adorable felt sticker that said Faith! I thought it looked like the perfect addition to put on the bag:)

Look at that cute sleepy face all cuddled into Daddy's arm:)

These boxes provided days worth of entertainment; lots of races up and down the hall!

Another pretty sunset! Sorry I couldn't help myself, they are just so gorgeous! And it's so amazing how each and every day they can look so different!

So gosh darn cute!

This picture and the next just crack me up! Halter climbed up on the couch and proceeded to try and steal some bites of apple from Tytyn, you can tell in the picture below that Tytyn is thrilled about it lol. He really is so nice to share with his brother about 95% of the time:)

Halter's 1st Birthday! (On May 24th)

My baby turned 1!!! I cannot believe how fast the first year of his life went by! It took so long to get that sweet little one here and then once he was I feel like I blinked and he was already grown up! From the isntant this boy was born I felt like I'd known him forever! He is such an angel and I could not be more blessed to be able to be his Mother! He started walking basically on his birthday, which was exciting. He is into everything and is always so curious about everything and everybody. Halter has the sweetest smile, it melts your heart! He has such a light about him and this infectious little personality. I love his eyes, they're so shiny and bright, like there is a light in them. He has such a sweet little spirit.  I could kiss on that little boy's cheeks all day long...oh wait I do;) Our whole family just loves this little boy to pieces! We are so grateful that he is a part of our family! We loves you Babes! "Babes" is his nickname, I'm not quite sure how he got it, but it stuck ha ha.

He grabbed the entire scoop of ice cream first and shoved the whole scoop in his mouth ha ha!

He loved it, can you tell?!?!

Tytyn playing peek a boo. He is such a good big brother:)

My sweet baby!

This was one of his presents. It is a lawn mower that blows bubbles.

Tytyn's 5th Birthday!!! (On May 6th)

I cannot believe that I have a 5 year old!!!!!! He will be starting school in a few short weeks and it definitely hasn't hit me yet. Where does the time go?!?!?! I am so truly grateful to be the Mother of these sweet boys! I LOVE being a Mom to boys, boys are just so much fun! Our house is always full of laughter, fart jokes and dirty faces, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! Tytyn had a really fun 5th Birthday. My Mom decided to drive down and surprise him and she brought my Aunt Delina along with her, we LOVED having them here! Tytyn was SO excited when he showed up to the house and walked in to see my Mom there! Thank you so much for coming, it was such a blast to have more women in the house to cook and chat with! Tytyn got to go to work with Tyrel all day so that I could get food ready, make the cake and wrap presents. Tyrel took him out to lunch, wherever he wanted to go, he chose Taco Bell ha ha! We had a little party with family and appreciate so much everyone who came and made Tytyn's day that much more special! Tytyn is such a huge blessing to our family! He was a surprise baby that God knew we needed for a lot of reasons! He helped me through a lot of really hard years and was always there by my side to give me one of his infectious smiles. He always seems to know when I need an extra hug and kiss and sometimes he's the one rubbing my back telling me it's ok and to just take a deep breath. He was my only child for 4 years and we did SO many fun things together. He made me a Mother and for that I will be eternally grateful! This kid is an awesome helper and a great big brother! He loves Halter so much and I love watching them play and just be silly together. We love you so much Tytyn and are so grateful you are a part of our family!

Five years old and feeling good!

This is my little buddy pal!

Isn't he the cutest!!!

One of the days my Mom and Delina were here I had a trip planned to take my scouts to the zoo, so they got to come along. It was nice to have a few extra hands! The 2 boys I have in scouts are  HANDFULLS (which is a HUGE understatement!) They have a little petting zoo where you can brush some goats, Tytyn thought that was pretty neat.

I love my Aunt Delina, she is the best! She taught me how to make all sorts of new things while she was at my house. We made cinnamon raisin bread, tortillas and pocket bread. She is so talented and my boys love her! I'm not sure how my Mom didn't end up in any pictures, probably because she took most of them, but we sure appreciate her making that LONG drive to surprise Tytyn. He will always remember that and will want you to come every year for his birthday now!

My Mom took this picture of some of the wheel lines in the hay, I thought it was pretty!
