Surprise!!!

YAY!!!!!! I am so happy to finally announce that we are expecting! I am about 14 weeks along and my due date is May 24th. I just want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. We felt all of the prayers and the love and we appreciate it so much! To want a baby so bad and struggle with infertility is such a hard trial. I know there are a lot of you that have been through this trial yourselves and I appreciated your love, support and advice. I have been pretty sick, but just keep reminding myself how badly I prayed and worked for this little one. Tytyn is really excited to be a big brother. He was getting to the age where he was starting to ask why he didn't have a brother or a sister like other kids and it would always break my heart. I know he doesn't realize all that it will entail, and I know I don't know either. Its just been Tytyn and I for so long it will be weird to add another little one to the mix, but I look forward to adding to our family so much! Maybe someday I will sit down and write a post about the things I learned through this trial, I learned a lot! I know it was meant to happen this way and weirdly enough I am grateful for this trial because my faith grew and increased so much. We are going to be able to find out the sex of the baby on Dec. 9th, so stay tuned for that! Thank you again for all of your prayers! We are so excited!

October

October was a blur for several different reasons. I hardly have any pictures on my camera of the month of October, but I'll share the ones I do have. Hope everyone is having a fabulous fall! Winter is SO close, I can feel it!

We had 2 giant hailstorms! This was just the beginning of the first one. It looked like it had snowed by the time it was over. I have never seen hail so big!

Homemade 100% honey whole wheat bread, yum!

Tyrel was spinning the boys around on this chair one day while we were in Idaho. We are in Idaho basically every other weekend due to Tyrel's Dad being sick, helping with harvest and starting cows. To say I am SICK of that drive is a HUGE understatement!

My little olive fingers!

Patiently awaiting for the cookies to be done.

One day after I got out of the shower and was getting ready, Tytyn asked really nicely if he could please comb my hair for awhile. I LOVE when people play with my hair so I agreed and basically was drifting off to sleep while he was combing it when I heard an "uh oh" and a sharp tug. Everytime he got to the bottom of my hair he was wrapping a little bit of my hair around the comb. I didn't realize because my hair has gotten so long I couldn't feel what he was doing. I surprisingly stayed really calm because I know he didn't realize what he was doing, but deep down I was trying really hard to not have a panic attack. I tried and tried and could not get this comb out of my hair, I was so afraid I was going to have to cut a huge chunk out of my hair. After a quick prayer I patiently tried again and after about a half hour, I was free! We had a combing lesson and we have been accident free since ha ha.

This is a very common sight. He loves, loves, LOVES this dog! He goes outside to play with his dogs everyday and can often be seen just resting on them and wrestling them. This dog, Matilda, is so patient and good with him. He is always telling me how much he loves his dogs and how they are his best friends.

We are phasing out of nap time. This kid is an excellent sleeper. He always sleeps all the way through the night with the exception of being sick or having a bad dream. He is 3 1/2 and was still taking and 1 1/2 to 2 hour nap every single day except Sunday. I knew the day would be coming that nap time would phase out though. He still takes a few a week and the days he doesn't he goes to bed at like 7. He is really such a good boy. This day he refused to take a nap, but snuck away from me when I was on the phone and crawled in my bed and fell asleep. He just looked so cute I didn't have the heart to wake him up!

Happy Halloween! I am loving this age where he is realizing and remembering all these fun holidays coming up. He talked about Halloween and trick or treating for weeks leading up to it! He was the cutest little cowboy ever! He got so many compliments on his costume!

We woke up to snow one morning. He looked out the window at about 6:45 am and was begging and begging to go outside!!!!! There was just barely enough snow to cover the ground, but he was just so excited! I finally let him go out at about 9:30 and the first thing he did was flop down in the snow and make snow angels. It melted pretty fast except for along the fence line, but he stayed out there for hours until it was gone.

Yes he is holding himself because he came in to pee, but I had to hurry and get a quick pic because he looked so cute and happy in his snow clothes!

September Happenings

September has been a blur. I have snapped quite a few pictures here and there though. I figured I would just post a bunch of pictures to jog my memory of all we have had going on. This is just a little portion of what has been going on this month.

Why has no one ever told me about this genius way to freeze zucchini. It makes things so much easier when they are in 1 cup portions and frozen like that.

This was a super yummy dinner I made one night. We grill several night a week in the summer time, I will miss that.

This was at our ward campout. We brought our dirt bikes with so that we could go on a ride together. This is one of Tytyn's FAVORITE things to do!

I found a new recipe for 100% honey whole wheat bread that we all love! It is the most delicious wheat bread I've ever made. Tyrel even likes it better than my white bread (this is huge people.)

These are my jogging/walking partners. This is our "break" spot where we stop to get a drink and Tytyn eats a snack.

I love this shot I got of Tytyn.

Tyrel taking his turn hitting the ball.

SALSA!

We go through SO much salsa!

Corn from our garden!

Tytyn and Heston playing. Can you not tell that they are little Bingham Boys!

We came to Blackfoot to help with corn harvest and Tytyn thought this big huge tractor was pretty awesome (so did Tyrel.) This is the biggest tractor that John Deere makes. A neighbor kindly brought it over for Tyrel to use to further the process along. It helped a lot!

This was after they had gotten all the corn finally hauled and dumped into the pit.

5 Years!!!

We celebrated our 5th anniversary on August 1st! I cannot describe to you all how much I love this guy! He is my pillar of strength. He is such a kind and loving husband. He loves Tytyn and I so much and it is so evident everyday by the way that he acts. He is constantly telling me how beautiful I am and how much he loves me. I can only hope that I am as good of a wife to him as he is to me as my sweet hubby. I can't say enough good things about this man. I am so blessed to have him as my eternal companion. There is so much love and laughter in our home and it's because of the person that he is. He is an exceptional father and Tytyn adores him, as do I. Happy 5 years love! Can't wait for the next 5!

Randomness throughout June and July

This day he told me he had to shave real quick before we left ha ha.

We've had lots of fun water fights together.

This was a present we got Tyrel for Father's Day. He is always wanting scratches and back rubs, so I thought this was kind of clever. Tytyn drove all over his back and he was in heaven.

This was about a month ago so our lawn is filled in alot more since this picture. Tyrel has also sprayed for weeds since then so lets hope it looks alot better here soon. Notice our huge tree on the left hand side?

My garden area next to the dogs. This picture was also about a month ago so my garden has about doubled in size since then.

YUM!

This has been one of his favorite games lately. He calls it "Tytyn Taco", or "Taco Time." He likes to be rolled up super tight and then try to get out of it. And I like to take advantage of kissing his cute cheeks while he doesn't have his hands to push me away ha ha.

I find things like this quite often when I come in to check on Tytyn after he's fallen asleep at night.

Tyrel taught him what a ninja is, so that's what he is impersonating here. It cracks us up!

This was one of Tyrel's mission companions. He had to come and do a 2 week internship type thing at the pharmacy in the hospital here and so he was able to stay with us. They had fun catching up and it was fun to listen to them talk about stories from their mission. This night he went home teaching with Tyrel to a less active family and had an awesome experience.

This boy loves shakes and smoothies. This day we made a smoothie out of white peach, kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, banana and vanilla protein powder. It was delicious!!!

So we had a HUGE gust of wind that lasted about 3 minutes last week and it cracked off a big piece of our tree and it fell over onto the fence between us and our neighbors. Its planted in a very weird spot and was kind of pushing on the fence anyway so our neighbor said he would appreciate if it was just gone. We love our neighbors and they were really awesome about the whole thing. They helped us cut it up and get the fence back up, it was a huge project. We had our home teacher come help us one night and our neighbors were always out there helping too. Its so nice to have such great neighbors. Tytyn and I were both really sad to see the tree go though. Tytyn bawled the whole time it was being cut down. He kept saying "NO thats my tree, don't cut it down!!!" He played in the tree all the time, I felt bad it had to go.

These are my cantaloupe and watermelon plants. Supposedly melons grow REALLY well here.

My huge zucchini plants.

I've got carrots, onions, peas, green beans, zucchini, tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, broccoli, cucumbers, corn, potatoes, and strawberries. Its kept me busy this summer, but I've really enjoyed my garden alot. Everything just tastes SO much better from the garden.

Working on the fence.

LOOK! I have watermelon growing! Can you see the 3 different sizes?! I hadn't looked for any growing for about a week and when I saw these on Saturday I literally screamed in joy, I was SO excited to see these little things. I've got about 5 or 6 watermelon growing and about 3 cantaloupe so far. I'm really excited for fresh melon from the garden!

4th of July trip to Washington

We got to go to Washington over the 4th of July and spend about a week with the family. We all had so much fun and were not ready to leave when the time came! Why do vacations have to go so fast?! We spent lots of time at the lake and just enjoyed each others company. Tytyn had a BLAST with his cousins. They played everyday from the moment they woke up until bedtime later that night. They all got along really well and truthfully it was kind of nice to have a break. They just entertained each other really well. I have lots of pictures that will show you a glimpse of our fun week there. Warning: Picture Overload!

Ready to get out on the boat!

Tytyn decided he wanted to go on the ski trainer after he saw Jazlyn do it, he had lots of fun doing it!

Silly kiddos eating dinner.

Jazlyn was a little water bug the whole time we were there. It was fun to play around in the water with them.

These two are so cute, they are only 2 months apart.

All of the kids LOVE their Papa so much!

Waiting for fireworks to start.

My cute hubby and I taking some video of the kids doing sparklers.

He only sat with us for about 2 seconds during fireworks, but he LOVED watching them.

Isn't my sister gorgeous!!! She is in the hospital right now having her baby!

They did lots of fishing.

And some canoeing...until Tytyn had a little meltdown from lack of sleep ha ha.

My little stud muffin!

He said he was pretending he was on a motorcycle (very typical.)

Tytyn LOVES Jazlyn, they were pretty much inseparable the whole time we were there.

SMORES!

Cutie pie!

Look who got on the tube, Grandma! (In her clothes too) It was the only way Kelston would get on the tube.

Papa joined in the fun.

Grandma always has to get her pictures of the grandkids, this was the first one she took and its my favorite. She should have just stopped while she was ahead ha ha.

This is where it led and the kids were getting a little out of hand.

Then Grandma got after them and this was a picture of them after the scolding they got. Ha ha I love how pictures can tell a whole story.

Squirt gun fun.

Tytyn was always more than willing to help drive the boat.

We went to a War Memorial that was on display. It was actually really cool to see.

Love this picture!

I captured this lovely photo of my son's mouth ha ha.

My sweet baby boy.

Papa and Grandma and their grandkids.

Tytyn really figured out how to take advantage of having a niece and nephew who will do what you ask. Ha Ha Ha
