December

December was a really fun month! Thankfully I was starting to feel a little better so was able to do some fun things with my buddy. I know it's been a long time since my last blog post. I think in my last post I had put the day we were finding out the sex of our baby, but we have since decided not to find out and have it be a surprise! It is something that I've wanted to try it least once, so why not this time I figured. Tyrel wasn't up for it, but for my Birthday he finally agreed to it. I am 23 weeks now and we are getting more and more excited everyday to meet this new little one! I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year! We had an awesome Christmas here at home in Vernal, just the 3 of us, which we did last year as well. Tytyn was so much fun this year. He really got into everything and was just excited about everything! My Mom did so many little fun traditions with us and its so fun to have someone to do them with now. Watching Christmas through a child's eyes is seriously the best thing ever!!! I was perfectly happy with getting nothing this year, I just wanted to enjoy my family and watch my little buddy be so happy. Of course Tyrel did not listen and decided to spoil me with a new vacuum (an amazing one by the way), a beautiful ring, and a leather recliner (which was more of a gift for both of us, but it will be nice to sit in when the baby gets here.) It was a great day and a great month and its always sad when Christmas ends because I love the spirit it brings with it. Tytyn was especially sad that Christmas was over, but now we are back to normal life and things are great. We've been super busy as usual and are trying to enjoy this time in our lives one day at a time. Hopefully I can get caught up on my blog here soon! Have a great day everyone!

This was after we finished decorating our tree. Tytyn was so excited! It is so much fun to watch the magic of Christmas through a child's eyes.

We also introduced him to "Buddy" the elf that night that would be hanging out on our fireplace mantle for the month of December. It was so fun to wake up each morning and have Tytyn be so excited to go and find Buddy to see what he was doing that morning.

This day it started snowing around 10-11 am and didn't stop all day or night. I LOVE that first snow, where you're all cozy inside your house and can watch how beautiful it is as it covers the ground. We got 15 inches at our house in that one day.
This was the next morning. I got just as excited as Tytyn to go out and play in it. I always loved playing in the first snow when everything is still so fresh and perfect looking.

The snow all piled up on top of our wheel barrow.

Our dogs after being let out of the garage that morning had just as much fun in the snow as we did.

Tytyn was finding out that there was no way he was going to be able to push his tractor around in 15 inches of snow.

He loves helping shovel. We had so much fun this day. We made snow angels and attempted playing fetch with the dogs which was so hilarious to watch. The ball would sink in the snow every time it landed and they would sniff around and tunnel in the snow forever until they found it.

Hot chocolate is always a must after hours of fun in the snow!

Our elf, Buddy, enjoyed the snow (sugar) as well.

"Let's clean up this mess that Buddy made Mom."

Tytyn loves additions to his cereal. This morning he had bananas and blueberries with it.

Helping Daddy shovel the driveway.

This day we were going to be working cows all day. Buddy got geared up to remind Tytyn that today was branding day!

All bundled up and ready to go outside to work cows.

Meeting Santa at the library. We had met a Santa earlier in the month in Idaho that was much more jolly and cute with the kids. Tytyn told me after he met this Santa that he liked the other Santa better or as he called him the "laughy Santa." He laughed and said Ho Ho Ho a lot. This Santa we met at the library was kind of a weird duck.

This day Tytyn woke up to Buddy reminding him that he had friends coming over later to decorate giant gingerbread men with him.

Here are the girls decorating and Tytyn eating the decorations ha ha.

I frosted his cookie for him, but he decorated it, I thought he did a really good job!

This day we made rolo cookies and Tytyn's job was to unwrap all the rolos, which he loved. Of course he had to snitch a few, but hey that's part of the fun right!

Our finished product.

Whoops! Buddy tried to have some fun in the night, but his parachute got caught in the fan!

I only got THREE pictures Christmas morning because we were doing video the whole time. So these are my 3 lousy Christmas morning pictures, none of them turned out, but the video is sure cute to watch, which to us will matter more down the road anyway.

He opened up pajamas and a robe Christmas eve night, which I'm sure is a tradition for a lot of you. He really wanted a robe because Daddy and I have one. I think he looks SO DARN cute in it!
