August

August 1st, Tyrel and I celebrated our 6th year Anniversary! We've been through a lot together in our short 6 years together, but it seems like this last year brought on a whole new level of challenges. I can tell you this much though, there is no one that I would rather face things with than my handsome man of mine. He has been such a great source of strength to me and I can only hope that I am to him as well. He is such a great husband and an awesome Dad! I love him so much! Here's a few old pictures that bring back some sweet memories:)

These boys love their Uncle Logan. It's so much fun to be live close to family.

Funny faces!

This little sweetie is 3 months old here.

The boys were really enjoying the new asphalt that was poured and perfect for riding bikes on!

We blessed Halter in August. My parents and brothers were able to come and it was so nice to have them here for that. Halter wore the blessing outfit that Tyrel wore when he was blessed. It was a really special day for our family. We waited a long time for this little guy to be in our family.

We love our little Halter more than words can express!

The sweet faces of my boys:)

Here are a few pictures I got of the boys one day. Tytyn has too much fun posing for the camera sometimes. I don't mind though. Lots of pictures are better than none! These were taken July 31st. I love being these boys' Mom:)

Our visit to Washington

In July we got to go and visit my parents and Jacob for about a week. My grandparents also happened to be there for the first half of our trip there so it was fun to be able to see them too. Our trips there are usually spontaneous because when you farm its hard to plan much of anything in advance. You just have to take advantage when opportunities present themselves. We saw an opportunity to go for about a week in July and we basically decided to go one day and left that very same day. We decided to not tell my parents, but to surprise them and just show up. I knew that they would be around and wouldn't mind us dropping in on them at all. So we packed up and left on a Monday evening. We spent the night in Boise Monday night and drove the rest of the way on Tuesday. I called about a half hour before we were to show up at the house just to make sure that my parents would be at the house. My Mom mentioned when I called that they were probably going to take my Grandparents to the lake to spend the night. We had been wanting to skype for a few days, but it just hadn't happened yet so I asked her if she could wait about a half hour to skype with us. She could tell we were in the car and just assumed we were on our way home from town or something so she said ya sure just call me when you get home and we can skype before we leave. Before going to my house we decided to drop in on my Dad at the church because he was having Stake meetings there that night. When we got there Tyrel peeked in to see if there was someone that could grab my Dad for us. He ended up seeing my Dad instead and got stared at for a good length of time before I think it registered to my Dad who it was since he wasn't expecting us at all ha ha. It was so fun to surprise him! After visiting with him for awhile we headed to the house to see the rest of the family. Tyrel wanted to prank my Mom really bad. He wanted to set Halter in his carseat on the front porch with a note explaining that we could no longer take care of our baby and hoped that she could care for the baby for us. Of course he didn't think she'd ever expect us to show up so obviously she wouldn't know who the baby was or who it belonged to because she wouldn't be expecting us at all. We parked half way up the lane so that they couldn't see the car. I called my Mom on the phone and told her we were ready to skype so that they would be getting on the computer and be distracted and not see us coming up the lane. Tyrel snuck up the side lawn to the front door to put the carseat on the front porch. We had his carseat cover over so that she couldn't see him and Tytyn and I were still down the lane a little ways behind a tree. We could see that Tyrel had knocked on the door and ran to hide and then we heard my Mom answer the door. It only took her a split second before she yelled, "LINDSEY!" She didn't even see the note or anything or even the baby and just knew it was us ha ha. It was still fun to surprise them though! We had such a fun week with them and did so many fun things together! It's always so nice going back home. I love taking Tytyn back there now that he is old enough to make memories that he remembers, I like taking him to do and see things that I did growing up. Thanks Dad and Mom for such a fun week and being such good sports when we just showed up and surprised you!!!

Halter all passed out after a trip to the dentist with Mom. Dad and Tytyn made a trip to the dentist as well.

July

July was a fun filled month. For about 2 weeks you kind of get in between all the harvests and only have to worry about getting water on the crops. So we took advantage of these 2 weeks and did all sorts of fun stuff with our families including a visit to the condo at Bear Lake and a visit to see our family in Washington.

Nap time:)

Playing hide and seek. Can you find Tytyn?! ha ha
