Fun Weekend!

Tyrel has a 4 day weekend every other weekend. It is so great to spend some quality time, just the 3 of us, after a long week f work. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here every day, its sunny and blue sky. So we decided on Saturday that we would go for one last dirtbike ride before the weather gets crummy on us. It was so much fun and so beautiful where we rode. We would ride for awhile and then stop and let Dad go do some crazy jumps and then ride some more. It was fun to watch Tyrel and Tytyn was totally enthralled every time Tyrel got some air. It was a fun day spent with my favorite people! I feel like I have learned alot this year about myself and whats really important. I have learned that I cannot be envious of other people's blessings. Them being blessed with something has nothing to do with me and does not mean that God isn't aware of the desires of my heart. Everything will happen in the Lord's time and when he sees fit. I am truly blessed with a more than wonderful husband who is so sensitive to my needs and wants and for my sweet little Tytyn who brings a smile to my face everyday. Having his sweet little spirit in our home everyday is a gift. I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Let us remember what this season is truly about. We have much to be thankful for to be a part of this gospel and a part of God's plan. Love and miss you all!

November

So much happened in the month of November, hopefully I can remember all of our fun events. I threw a bridal shower for my soon to be sister-in-law. She is marrying Tyrel's brother, Logan, and we all love her so much! She is so awesome and will fit in with the family very well! She has the cutest and sweetest personality, I look forward to having her in our family! My parents and Jared came to our house for Thanksgiving. It was so much fun having them here! We appreciate their effort in making the trip down here, it really meant alot to us! They came the day before Thanksgiving and left Sunday after church. Then on Tuesday I drove down to Provo and met my Mom, Jared and Teens there. My Mom stayed a few extra days so that we could do some Christmas shopping in Salt Lake that week. It was fun to see some of my family and for Tytyn to get to know some of them better. Shopping really isn't that fun when you have a 2 year old with you the whole time. I think the entire 3 days I was there I chased him around stores making sure he wasn't breaking anything! Its ok though, we still had alot of fun! We took him to Temple square to see the lights and he loved it!!! The day after Thanksgiving they do something here in Vernal called Holly Days. They basically have a bunch of free events for the kids and food booths and all the shops are open on main street with sales going on. We took Tytyn and he had a blast. My other sister-in-law, Britini, had her 2nd little boy at he end of November! They named him Colston. He sure is a cute little guy, I can't wait to meet him. That makes for 3 grandsons for Tyrel's parents. I can't believe its December already! This year has flown by and we are not where I thought we'd be, but we are so blessed and for that I am grateful! These pics are not in any order whatsoever so forgive me for that.

Karissa got decorated for every question she got wrong.

Tytyn absolutely adores Karissa!!!

October

Hey everyone! Its been awhile! Like over a month! I keep thinking that things are going to slow down, but they have not! At all! Its ok though, we enjoy staying busy, it makes us appreciate the day or two now and then where things slow down and we can just be together. We've been focusing alot on cows this month. We have a little over 200 bought and worked and are looking for about 100 more. We love this time of year! The season of fall is always so pretty and I love all the holidays coming up! During the fall and beginning of winter is when we brand and vaccinate all of our calves too so that guarantees some quality family time. We get to enjoy doing this with all of Tyrel's side of the family. His Dad and all the brothers have been buying cows every fall as well , so everyone helps everyone out with all their calves, its always a good time. We really enjoyed Halloween this year. With Tytyn being older it was fun to watch him get even more excited then last year and now that he can talk it was so cute to hear him say "trick or treat", and then once the candy was dropped in his bag he would say "Ooooo thank you!" It was darling! He was a handsome little superman! Or as my friend said, "lets just say superboy because he'll be a man soon enough and for right now enjoy him as your little boy." Its good to be reminded of that every once in awhile. I had the primary program this last Sunday and it went SO great! I am the primary chorister in the ward and I couldn't be more  proud of the kids. They sang so loud and knew all the words, it brought tears to my eyes, children can bring such a special spirit! I am also super happy to know that my parents are home safe and sound. They have been gone the last 3 weeks in India, hiking up to base camp of Mount Everest. They sure do have some crazy adventures together, but I like knowing I have parents that enjoy doing things together even though none of us kids are at home anymore. It was really hard not having my Mom to call for 3 weeks! I'm glad they can go do things like that together, but I feel better knowing they are in the states and in their own home now. They are coming to my house for Thanksgiving, along with Jared and I am SO excited! We were supposed to spend Christmas this year in Washington, but Tyrel's brother just got engaged about a month ago and announced that they are getting married December 21st. So that would make for a very stressful and long weekend. So we invited them here for Thanksgiving instead and I am SO excited they are coming. We are also very excited for Tyrel's brother Logan and his fiance Karissa! We have gotten to know her alot better over the past month or so and I love her! She is so great, they are very deserving of each other, they are a very good match! Kindra, Britini and I are throwing her a bridal shower next weekend in Blackfoot, I'm really excited for it! Halloween night we had 3 couples over for a Halloween party. We made some fun Halloween food for the kids and for the adults I made a big pot of soup and homemade rolls. I wish I would have gotten some pics, but I was too busy having fun! We visited and played games it was a good time. I love hearing the kids run around having the time of their lives! I hope everyone is doing well! Enjoy the upcoming pics of our crazy, but happy lives!

The little kiddos watching us.

This is Karissa and I. This day I tagged and vaccinated and she sprayed nasalgen and worked the gates.  We didn't waste any time in showing her what her life will be like from now on. Ha ha

Logan and Karissa, aren't they the cutest!

Tytyn LOVES his Uncle Collin!

Tyrel giving the steroid.

My sweet little nephew Heston. His Mama is due with another boy in a month or so. This family has an abundance of boys, we love them though!

Silly Tytyn, this kid is such a ham he will be the class comedian for sure. Takes after his Dad.

He LOVED trick or treating this year!

Here and There

I thought September would be the month that things slowed down, but I should have known better. It has been SO crazy, but we've had lots of fun!

Tytyn trying out my flip flops.

Last Saturday we went and gather wood. We went with 2 other families and all helped each other. It was nice to have more manpower to get it all done faster. We have 2 wood burning stoves in our house and are going to use them this winter instead of our central heat.

I've been canning a ton! Salsa, peaches, peach filling, pears, pear sauce, applesauce and apple filling. And today I made a 5 loaves of bread to keep in the freezer and another batch of strawberry banana freezer jam (the best ever!) There's something about fall time that gets me all ready to get my family prepared for the winter.

This is Tytyn and his best buddy Draker. They were hanging out while me and his mom and another friend were having a craft day.

This is the fall wreath that I made for our front door! I'm excited how it turned out, I'd never made a wreath before, it was so much fun!

I don't think I've ever mentioned anything about our great friends that live here now. Tyrel helped him get a job out where he is working and so they moved up here a month or two after we did. The funny thing is they were born and raised and have always lived in Blackfoot. Tyrel knew them a little, but I had never met either of them. So when they came out to interview for the job they came over for dinner and me and (Laressa) became instant besties! Its so nice to have someone here to hang out with alot. She has 2 adorable kids, a girl and a boy and is pregnant with a girl! I really haven't had a whole lot of good close friends in the past few years and its so nice to be making good friends here that we can hang out with often and make good memories with. Hope everyone is doing well! Happy Harvest everyone!!!
