So you're probably wondering what else I have to say after the 5 posts I posted yesterday. Well I forgot to mention 2 very important things!
1. Tytyn is finally walking! After being close to doing so for I swear like 2-3 months, he finally decided it was time. It had to be his idea, no one elses. He's a pretty stubborn and strong willed child...I wonder where he gets that from:)
2. Our computer crashed! We lost EVERYTHING! What I am most sad about losing is all the pictures and videos of Tytyn. We had every picture we've ever taken of him on that computer and hadn't ever backed it up, shame on us! Thank goodness for e-mails, facebook and blogs. I was able to retrieve alot of photos from those, but I'm still sad about alot of pictures that I know I will never see again. So with that said, if any of you have pictures of Tytyn, any photos would be much appreciated!
I hope you all have a fabulous day, the sun is shining here and hope it is for all of you too!

Babysitting
Sometime in the middle of May I started watching a little boy, that is four months older than Tytyn, for 3 days a week. I am doing it for 10 weeks, while his Mom does a 10 week program through ISU. It has been pretty challenging. Tytyn hated having him here for about the first 4-5 weeks. Finally this week they have really started to get along for the most part. They play pretty well together now and love to play peek-a-boo and laugh and giggle over who knows what. They have jibberish conversations which is my favorite to listen to because I'm thinking hmmmm I wonder what they are talking about ha ha! I am trying to stay positive and find the good in the situation. I guess if the good is just the fact that I'm helping out a friend so that he doesn't have to go to a daycare then I'll be happy with that. If I was in the same situation I would want my kid to stay at a friend's house that I knew well versus a daycare. It's just a little frustrating at times, like I literally wanna pull my hair out some days, but we'll get through it.....with a smile:)

June 18th
On June 18th a very special little boy was born. Tyrel's brother, Brian and his wife, Britini had their baby. We got to go and see them that evening after a great trip to the temple. He is so beautiful and so tiny! Its hard to believe how much sweet little babies grow in just a year's time. They named him Heston. I now have 3 nephews and 1 niece. I really love being an Aunt and am so grateful to be able to watch these sweet kiddos learn and grow throughout these past years. But more importantly I am grateful to have the chance to be a Mother. It isn't easy at times as I'm sure all of you know, but it is the most rewarding thing I have ever done!
Here is sweet baby Heston, not even a day old, isn't he so precious! |
And here is my adorable little man, Tytyn, I love him SO much! |
Bear Lake
We got home from our Washington visit on a Tuesday and then we decided to take a trip to Bear Lake that weekend. So after lots of unpacking, laundry and cleaning I packed us all up again to leave on Friday after Tyrel got home from work. We got to Bear Lake Friday night and were planning on going on a bike ride before bedtime, but it started to rain, bummer! Saturday morning we woke up to some sunshine so after a nice breakfast together we went on our bike ride. We took Tytyn to the playground to push him in the swing, he loves that! Then we rode over to the Pickleville Playhouse to see if they had any shows going on that night. We were in luck, it was their opening night! They put on some really awesome plays there! So if you ever get the chance to take a trip to Bear Lake, I would highly suggest you check this place out! It was about time for Tytyn's nap so we headed back to the condo. After he woke up and we had some lunch together, Tyrel and I decided to face off in miniature golf. In case you didn't know, Tyrel and I are pretty competitive, so sometimes its better to not play games together ha ha. Tyrel won...this time! I'll get him next time, but it was fun nonetheless. We then decided it was warm enough to go swimming in the pool, Tytyn has never been in one, so we changed and headed down there to play with him. He seemed to like it, especially when I went under the water and popped up and said peek-a-boo! After some fun in the pool it was already time for buddy's 2nd nap. During his nap I had to make 3 dozen homemade rolls for Logan's welcome home which was the next day. After making the dough and putting it in a bowl to rise I realized I didn't have a rolling pin!!! I asked some neighbors at the condo and nobody had one, but one lady said well how about if we duct tape 2 pop cans together, would that work?! Why not?! Ha ha so yes, I did roll out 3 dozen rolls with 2 pop cans duct taped together, and YES it was a pain in the butt! But it got the job done, it just took a little extra time. I won't be forgetting that anytime soon. After Tytyn woke up and we had some dinner we headed to the play which was to start at 8. Tytyn's bedtime is at 7:30, but we decided we didn't do this kind of thing everyday, so we'd see how he did. He did SO awesome! The play lasted til a little after 10 and he stayed awake, clapped, and danced and really liked it. I got lots of compliments from people sitting around us that they couldn't believe how well behaved he is and good he did during the whole thing. I am one lucky Mama! He is a pretty easy going boy! Well we were exhausted from our fun day and went home and climbed in bed. The next morning we had to leave pretty early to make it back to Blackfoot by 11 for Logan's welcome home speech in Sacrament. After church we had a luncheon at the school for Logan and lots of family and friends. Afterwards we went back to Tyrel's parents house and visited and hung out. It was a great weekend! Sorry for the long post, but this is also a journal of sorts for me and I don't want to forget the fun month that we've had!
Tyrel was enjoying a nap and Tytyn was giving Daddy a love:) |

Jacob's Graduation
The morning after Logan arrived home (June 2nd), Tytyn and I drove up to Salt Lake and met my Grandparents at their house. We then all rode to the airport to catch a flight to Washington for my baby brother's graduation. I CANNOT believe that Jacob graduated, ok let me rephrase that ha ha! I obviously knew he would have no problem graduating, he is a way smart kid, but the fact that he is old enough to graduate is just beyond me! Why does time have to go by so fast?! Jacob was attached to my hip as a kid. I remember him coming with me everywhere! And I also remember me hauling him around like he was my little baby, and now he is leaving for college! But I'm glad for that because he is going to be attending BYU-I, which is just a little over an hour away from my house! Here's some pics from the week I spent with my family....If you're wondering if we had fun...WE DID!

Long Time No Blog!!!
WOW! This month of June has been SO crazy! We have had so many fun and exciting things going on I don't even know where to start! Summer always seems so packed full of events, I feel like I never stop for air! Anyways I guess I'll start with the very first day of June. June 1st is the day that Tyrel's brother, Logan got home from serving a full time mission in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is also the day of my wonderful Father's Birthday! |
We dressed Tytyn up in his suit and got him a little future missionary tag. We were at the airport waiting for Logan to get off the plane. |
